Nigerian students have
been criticized of their reading culture that is fast deteriorating due to the
fact that students are now lazy as a result of availability of modern
technology.
This was disclosed by a
senior lecturer of the Nigerian institute of journalism, Dr. Dele Omojuyigbe at
the lunching of his book titled “Media Language and Ideology” at the institutes
main auditorium.

Omojuyigbe however
admonish students to imbibe vast reading culture to be successful individuals
in the future.
In another statement by
the revealer of the book, Mr. Femi Macaulay he stated that the book which could
also be useful for insight reporting.
The event was perhaps
attended by the provost of the institute, Dr. Gbemiga Ogunleye, Deputy provost,
Mr. Jide Johnson amongst others.
